About Us

“What is healing? How do I embark on a journey of self-exploration? How can I attain consciousness?”
“Mental illness is not merely a mental health issue; the whole being must be included in the health process.”

The idea for our retreats originated from our daily yoga practice in the serene mountains of the Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh. Inspired by this setting, we felt compelled to share our lifestyle and deep connection with nature. We explored profound questions: What is healing? How do I embark on a journey of self-exploration? How can I attain consciousness? Ultimately, the core question emerged: How do we connect with our true nature?

Our retreats are founded on the belief that nature, in its perfection, does not need healing; rather, as beings of nature, we must reconnect with our inner selves to walk a path of happiness and joy.
This approach is rooted in the understanding that our inherent nature is healthy. Our center is always healthy, and our spirit is always vibrant. What experiences sickness is our body or mind; however, it is our pure nature or consciousness that guides us toward a path of health, happiness, and growth.

This holistic understanding of health is at the core of our collaboration with Centro de Formación Centir, where we seek alternative ways to transcend suffering. Centro de Formación Centir promotes mental and integral health through Humanistic Psychology. With over 30 years of listening to the suffering of others and witnessing their transformations, they have recognized the importance of lifestyle in enhancing well-being.

This project was created to strengthen and enhance therapeutic processes by addressing the root causes of suffering through an integral and holistic approach. We have discovered that mental illness is not merely a mental health issue; the whole being must be included in the health process. This means considering the biological, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions when pursuing transformation and well-being.
Through Yogarath, we promote a healthy lifestyle, offering retreats, yoga, and meditation classes that complement the services provided at Centro de Formación Centir. Our goal is to inspire lives filled with meaning, awareness, and connection.

“My work as a psychologist, therapist, and yoga teacher has been centered on research about the mind-body connection and understanding the relationship between the body, mind, and the place of our spirit in that relationship. What I have found is that the body has a very important place in the healing process and that holistic approaches should be included in order to improve our relationship with life. In this direction, I have been working for 8 years as a therapist in alliance with a recognized pshychologist center in Colombia and for 4 years as a yoga teacher. I am student of Usha Ji, a direct disciple of Iyengar Ji, and I keep researching this question about how to heal the memories of trauma through the body in connection with humanistic approaches in Psychology.”
