The first time that my first Indian friends asked me the reason why I can feel safe so far from home, I answered: “Before coming, I talked with my home mountains, very far away, and they told me they easily communicate with each other. So now I know these mountains are talking with my faraway mountains, and my faraway mountains are telling them to take care of me.
This project was born there, in the process of learning to trust in life and to go deeper into what it has for you. With this project, we are connecting two important, symbolic, and spiritual mountains: the Andes Mountains, a chain of mountains that are the path of different indigenous communities in their spiritual journey; the Himalayas, a path that yogis have been choosing to deepen their spiritual practice for thousands of years.
Mountains want to reconnect; mountains want us to reconnect with ourselves and with each other. The more connected we are with ourselves, the more connected we are with the whole universe.
One year after that conversation, Yogarath was born in our daily practice of yoga and our organic lifestyle rooted in nature in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh. There we find inspiration to share our lifestyle and our connection with nature. Questions arise around what healing is, how to engage in a process of self-exploration, and how to reach consciousness. But the basic question that reached us was how to connect with our true nature. Our project is based on the idea that nature doesn’t need to be healed; nature is already perfect as it is, so what we need, as beings of nature, is to reconnect with our inner self, our being, and our center, to have a life of health, happiness, and joy.
